NEIGHBOURHOOD

Lake Windermere Pointe puts you right where you want to be — close to everything, yet tucked just far enough away to truly unwind.

Located in the heart of Invermere, this lakeside community is steps from Kinsmen Beach, the splash park, playground, and the shoreline of Lake Windermere. Summer days here mean morning coffee with mountain views, paddleboards skimming across the water, and kids running barefoot between the beach and the ice cream shop.

You’re also an easy stroll to Invermere’s charming main street — local cafés, patio dining, boutiques, and the kind of small-town energy that makes you slow down and stay awhile.

In the winter, the lake transforms into the iconic Whiteway — the world’s longest skating trail — and Panorama Mountain Resort is just a short drive away for ski days that end in cozy evenings back at your home base.

Whether you're here for beach days, ski runs, or simply a reset in the mountains, Lake Windermere Pointe gives you that perfect balance of convenience and calm. Park the car, breathe a little deeper, and settle into vacation mode.

When you stay with us, you’ll be close to:

James Chabot Beach: Enjoy the convenience of beach access, where you’ll find plenty of picnic tables for eating with the family, shallow water, making it perfect for swimming with the kids and ample space to launch a kayak or stand-up paddle-board.

Radium Hot Springs: Take a dip in the hot springs and relax while soaking in a blend of scentless minerals that’ll leave you feeling brand new. An experience you won’t want to miss.

The Whiteway:  A 30km multi-use trail groomed for both cross-country skiing and skating. It was granted the world record as the world’s longest-maintained skating trail by the Guinness Book of World Records.

Greywolf Golf Course: Enjoy this world-renowned course, ranked among the top 15 best courses in Canada, perfectly positioned against the backdrop of the Purcell mountains. Also close by are Windermere Valley Golf Course, The Ridge at Copper Point & Eagle Ranch Golf Course.

The Farmer’s Market: Enjoy shopping for fresh produce and local specialties every Saturday morning this summer at our town’s local market.
