The Bow Nest is located in the heart of Bowness, one of Calgary’s most beloved and historic communities. Nestled along the Bow River, this neighbourhood offers a perfect balance of natural beauty and city convenience.

Just steps from the house, you’ll find river pathways, parks, and green spaces ideal for walking, biking, or a morning jog. Bowness Park, one of Calgary’s most iconic destinations, is only minutes away — a year-round haven for skating, canoeing, picnics, and riverside strolls.

The neighbourhood itself has a welcoming, village-like feel. Wander over to local cafés, bakeries, and restaurants, or browse the unique shops and markets that make Bowness feel like its own small town within the city.

For those looking to explore beyond the neighbourhood, Bowness is just a short drive from downtown Calgary, Canada Olympic Park/WinSport, and the Trans-Canada Highway, making it easy to head out for a day trip to the Rocky Mountains and Banff National Park.

Whether you’re here for a family getaway, an urban escape, or a stop on your mountain adventure, Bowness offers the perfect setting — scenic, relaxed, and full of character.
